SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — San Francisco Giants skipper Bruce Bochy is keeping it in the family.
The Giants plan to purchase the contract for Bochy’s son Brett, who pitched for the team’s Triple-A affiliate Fresno Grizzlies, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Right-handed Brett posted a 3.57 ERA in 34 games for the Grizzlies, with 53 innings pitched.
The senior Bochy’s predecessor Felipe Alou managed his son Moises from 2005 to 2006.
